The Internet is often an unsafe place, especially for children and teenagers. From sex offenders to social media posts to follow for a lifetime, the dangers are scary. Children can also inadvertently expose their families to online dangers, for example by accidentally downloading malware that gives cybercriminals access to their parents' bank accounts or other sensitive information. Protecting our children on the Internet is essentially about security awareness: Children need to know what dangers lurk on the Internet and how to protect themselves from them.

Generation Z, born in 1996 , was confronted with social media and its dangers in middle school. Since then, experts have observed with concern an increasing number of depression, self-harm and suicides among children and adolescents.

The series of lectures is aimed primarily at parents who want to arm themselves and sensitize themselves to the topic.

In an exciting, interactive and practice-related presentation, a proven crisis expert and his children aged 11 and 18 will use impressive practical examples to show which dangers and opportunities lie in apps such as TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and Co. Practical tips are given for parents who are faced with a flood of social media and who realize that they must not be indifferent to leaving their children unaccompanied in this demanding world. The approximately two-hour session ends with a question and answer session.

We organize this series of lectures on site at schools in multi-purpose buildings and auditoriums (in compliance with the BAG protection concept) or via webinar after ordering and at a flat rate of CHF 990, including electronic course documents .

The proceeds will be used to set up further education projects for parents, teachers and students.
